Research profile
Nik Kharlamov's current research uses eye tracking and behavioral measures to study reading. Specifically, Nik is fascinated by the Danish language and the focus of Nik's current research is whether (and why) reading Danish differs from reading other related languages. Nik is also interested in how humans read when emoji are used in the text, especially when people substitute words with emoji symbols.
Teaching profile
Nik teaches and supervises student projects in cognitive psychology and engineering psychology, as well as quantitative research design.
