Personal profile

Research profile

My work centres on empirical research in human geography, regional science, and labour economics. I have developed innovative methods for investigating labour mobility and human capital, using advanced econometric models and administrative data to examine the effects of graduate mobility and labour inflows on local employment, particularly in the urban-rural dichotomy. I have also studied institutional frameworks in cross-border regions, utilising network analysis to map institutional interactions and influence. Recently, I have researched resilience during crises such as the COVID-19 pandemic, combining survey and register data to identify local strategies that support employment growth and enhance remote work potential. In addition, I further explore regional productivity and environmental impacts, contributing to analyses with general equilibrium models. My methodological expertise spans quantitative and qualitative approaches, including variable estimation, spatial econometrics, expert interviews, case studies, and network analysis.
