Peter Fojan is part of the Materials science and Engineering group at the Department of Mechanics and Production at AAU. He is working with Biophysical studies of proteins and protein engineering applying AI based methods to de novo design proteins to depolymerize plastics. As part of his research interest he is a work package leader of the EU funded STREP consortium. He has also been part of the Trace project One textile direction, working with electrospinning to recycle textiles. He has been supervising PhD projects within the areas of electrospinning and protein design and selæf assembling and antimicrobial peptides.
