CIRCULAR ECONOMY AND DESIGNED TO LAST

Louise Møller Haase is a design researcher with focus on Circular Economy and in particular the slowing of resource loops through longer lasting products. She is part of the  TECH Centre for Circular Economy and the HMI Lab. Before Louise became the Associate Dean at the Technical faculty of IT and Design, she was head of the Designed to Last research group.

 

RESEARCH MANAGEMENT

Louise has extensive experience in research management, among others as project manager of both national research projects, as well as with EU projects. Currently, she is principle investigator of the CircularTEX and PROLONG projects funded by the Innovation Foundation. 

 

INDUSTRY COLLABORATION

Louise’s approach to research is characterized by close collaboration with the industry. This has resulted in the facilitation of innovation processes in more than 15 national and international companies, including: GE, Daimler Crystler, Velux and LEGO. 

Louise has been a visiting research at Stanford University, where she still has a strong network.

TEACHER OF THE YEAR

In 2018 Louise was nominated Teacher of the year at AAU and recieved Det Obelske Familiefond's teaching price.
