Research profile

I am a tenure-track assistant professor in the Cyber Security group at Aalborg University (Copenhagen campus). My research interests include cybersecurity, distributed optimization, and privacy/security.  I have authored/co-authored 38 papers, including publications in flagship journals/ conferences in signal processing, privacy and security such as IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security, IEEE Transactions on signal processing, ICLR, NACCAL,  ICASSP and EUSIPCO.

I am  the Winner of the 3-Minute Thesis (3MT) Contest at EUSIPCO 2020 (The annual thesis speech competition of EURASIP, outstanding finalists are invited to give defense presentations competitively on their doctoral research at the annual EUSIPCO conference.).

I am also a tutorial speaker at EUSIPCO2024, Lyon, France, where I, together with Professor Richard Heusdens delivered the newest advances in privacy-preserving distributed computation titled as 'Privacy-Preserving Distributed Optimization: Theory, Methods and Applications '.  I also actively contributes to the academic community as a reviewer for top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICLR, CVPR,ICML,AAAI) and journals (TPAMI, TIFS, TSP,TASLP,TSIPN).
