Sune Qvotrup Jensen is an internationally highly acknowledged and well cited gender and masculinity scholar. He has a broad experience in theoretically informed sociological research, broad experience in administration and management, broad experience in teaching (including supervising students on all levels), as well as experience in obtaining and undertaking collective externally funded research projects. 

Teaching profile

I have a broad experience in teaching and supervising students on all levels, from 1st semester to PhD.

I currently teach/supervise at the Sociology education (MA and BA), the MA in Criminology and the BA in Social Work.  I teach courses on Cultural Analysis, Criminological Theory, Gender and Intersectionality Theory, Qualitative Methodology in Sociology and Criminology .   

In March 2014, I was granted the award as Teacher of the Year by the Faculty of Social Science, Aalborg University, nominated by the Study Board of Criminology.
