Research profile

I am a PhD student at Aalborg University in Denmark, specializing in qualitative research with a focus on participatory action research and workshops. With a background in physiotherapy and a master’s in musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy, my current project, the Integrate Project, seeks to enhance care for individuals with chronic and complex MSK conditions in Aalborg municipality. By involving physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, and psychologists, Rikke aims to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and improve patient navigation in the healthcare system. Key interests include patient education, e-learning, chronic pain management, multidisciplinary healthcare, psychological flexibility, and health literacy.
