In her research, A/Prof Rikke Kristine Nielsen, M.Sc and PhD with a background in organization and management studies, explores the organizational development triangle of leadership, human resources (HR), and organizational change in a contemporary (business) landscape of “VUCAP” - Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity, and Paradox. She is an expert on organizational paradox and global leadership, taking a particular interest in paradox navigation competency development and boundary spanning across organizational, professional or technological boundaries in contexts characterized by multiple stakeholders. A separate stream of research explores the practice of engaged scholarship and research co-creation with both practical/societal and academic impact across the academia-practitioner divide. She is passionate about engaging with students, post-experience learners and practitioners about her research through teaching, collabs, consultancy and public speaking.
