Seyed Amir Hosseini (M’2023) received the B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees from the Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2014, 2016, and 2022, respectively, all in electrical engineering. Dr. Hosseini was a visiting Ph.D. scholar with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Denmark Technical University. He is currently a postdoctoral research fellow with the Department of AAU Energy at Aalborg University. During his postdoctoral research, he was also a visiting researcher at RWTH Aachen University with Professor Monti. His current research interests include power system reliability, distributed renewable generation, control and operation of smart grids, demand-side management, transient stability, small-signal stability, and battery energy storage systems.
