Personal profile

Research profile

I am an Associate Professor in Information Behavior, research group leader for CHAP (Challenges and Movements in Performing Digitalization), and a member of the research group Purposeful Technology Lab.

Overall, my research focuses on investigating human practice in the interaction with IT. I am particularly interested in how people experience and interact with information systems and have conducted studies on digital museum visitors, visitors' interactions in physical science centers, students' information practices, complex information needs, among other topics. I am a member of the Information Behaviour Conference (ISIC) Steering Committee (2024-2030), where I contribute to shaping and developing the conference.

I teach qualitative methods as well as information behavior and practice in the Bachelor's program in Communication and Digital Media, and I also teach and supervise in the IT Master's programs in Information Science and Experience Design. Additionally, I am the coordinator and teacher for the Master IT module on Behavior and Awareness.

I also serve as a representative on the Institute Council at the Department of Communication and Psychology (2024-2028).
