Research profile

As my CV indicates, I have had a strong interest in working with interpersonal dynamics, particularly focusing on family dynamics and the dynamics related to professional work. This interest has been a consistent thread throughout my career, from working directly with families to enhancing professionals’ relational competencies. Over the years, I have also incorporated writing as another form of mediation. I have been working as independent consultant with supervision and teaching since 1991. I am related to the Institute of Group Analysis in Aarhus, Denmark, and since 2019 I have been related to the Institute of Learning and Philosophy and the Institute of Sociology and Social Work
My research focuses on the impact of silence in professional work with vulnerable families. My work has been published in renowned journals, and I have presented my findings at international conferences.
As a lecturer, I have had the pleasure of working with a diverse range of students at various levels. I have developed and taught courses, and I have received positive evaluations from both students and colleagues. My teaching philosophy is based on promoting critical thinking and lifelong learning, and I strive to create an engaging and inclusive PBL-learning environment inspired by cases.
