Research profile

Svend Brinkmann has been professor of general psychology and qualitative methods at Aalborg University since 2009. His research deals with fundamental problems in psychology, the philosophy of psychology, qualitative research methodology and cultural analysis. In recent years, he has had a particular focus on investigating the implications of psychiatric diagnoses for individuals and society.

Teaching profile

Teaches at bachelor's, master's and PhD levels in qualitative research methods, social psychology, philosophy of science and the dissemination of psychological knowledge.
