Personal profile

Teaching profile

My teaching mainly takes place on the institute's BA degree in Communication and digital media, as well as the Master degree (cand. it.) in Interactive digital media, as well as Media studies. I cover i.a. areas such as ethnography and autoethnography, fandom culture, fanfiction, as well as chatbots and artificial intelligence.

Research profile

My primary research focus is on ethics, particularly inspired by the Danish theologian and philosopher Knud E. Løgstrup. I explore how design can support or limit participation and co-creation, especially within digital platforms and social media. I also investigate how such platforms influence the relationship between users and the motivation to collaboratively generate content.

In addition, I work in areas such as design fiction and artificial intelligence (chatbots and generative AI), where I analyze the ethical implications of technological development and user involvement in design processes. My research also covers interactive digital media, fan studies, and transmedia storytelling, examining how narratives can spread across different media and affect audience participation.
