Research profile
As Head of Research at the Department of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy and an Associate Professor at the Department of Clinical Medicine at Aalborg University, my role is to facilitate and support clinically focused research initiatives. We collaborate closely with a wide range of medical specialties at Aalborg University Hospital, enhancing interdisciplinary research efforts. My primary responsibility is to support and facilitate research that directly impacts clinical practice, aligning with the broader ambitions of the University and University Hospital. My current research efforts are dedicated to exploring innovative digital strategies to enhance patient support both within and beyond hospital settings, leveraging technology to improve healthcare delivery and outcomes.

Som Forskningsansvarlig ved Fysioterapi- og Ergoterapiafdelingen (Aalborg Universitetshospital) og lektor ved Klinisk Institut (Aalborg Universitet) er min rolle at facilitere og understøtte klinisk fokuserede forskningsinitiativer. Vi samarbejder tæt med en bred vifte af medicinske specialer på Aalborg Universitetshospital, hvilket styrker det tværfaglige forskningssamarbejde. Min primære opgave er at støtte og facilitere forskning, der har en direkte indvirkning på den kliniske praksis, i tråd med universitetets og universitetshospitalets overordnede ambitioner. Min nuværende forskning er dedikeret til at undersøge innovative digitale strategier til at styrke patientstøtte både inden for og uden for hospitalsmiljøet, med fokus på at udnytte teknologi til at forbedre sundhedsydelser og behandlingsresultater.
