Ulrik Røhl’s field of interest is the link between good administration and the ongoing digitalization of the public sector in the Western World. In his Ph.D., Ulrik explores how and to what extent norms and rules of good administration are effected by the increasing use of automated, administrative decision-making by public authorities.
He holds an MA in Public Administration from the University of Roskilde, Denmark, and an MA in Politics, Security and Integration from the School of Slavonic and East European Studies at University College London, Great Britain. He is part of the Center for Organization, Management and Administration (COMA) and the Center for IT Management (CIM) at the Department of Politics & Society as well as the AI for the People Center. Ulrik is former Chief of Staff at KOMBIT Ltd., a company responsible for the procurement and development of large it-systems on behalf of Danish local governments. His Ph.D. is a partnership between Aalborg University and KOMBIT Ltd.
Ulrik teaches students in the bachelor and master programmes of Digitalization & Innovation, Politics & Administration and IT Management at the Department of Politics & Society.
