Research profile
My research has a major focus on electrochemistry related research with an expectation to solve the global issues on energy, health and environment. I specialise in enzymatic bioelectrochemistry, as well as electrocatalysis and electroanalysis.
I got my PhD degree in Chemistry in January 2019 (defended in June 2018) at the University of Limerick, Ireland. I spent four years being a postdoc and subsequently a researcher at Technical University of Denmark (DTU). In October 2022, I joined AAU and established my own independent research group.
Along years, my research is recognised as I am an Irish Research Council Postgraduate Scholar, a H.C. Ørsted/ Marie Skłodowska-Curie COFUND Fellow, the 71st Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting Fellow, the winner of Kathleen Lonsdale Chemistry Prize (the Young Chemist Prize) by Royal Irish Academy, as well as the recipient of the International Electrochemical Society (ISE) Travel Award for Young Electrochemists.
