Research profile

My research focuses on various forms of categorization in Chinese governance, covering diverse themes like urban and rural citizens and resources, critical minerals, and types of mental illness and disabilities. I have publsihed on the reception of China in Greenland, urban-rural relations in China, and digital control in China. I am currently (March 2025) working on publications on views on mental illness and disabilities in China, Danish-Taiwanese relations, and data collection in China under tighter political control.
