Description
Through the researchproject methods and tools, including new trackingtechnologi for measuring how the users utilise the potential applications in the physical room of libraries, are developed. The researchproject is connected to research within architecture, benchmarking and space (ABS) at AAU. Methods and tools should later be applicable to all libraries for optimising lay-outs and qualify librarystatistics. The researchprojekt is conducted in colaboration between Hjørring library and AAU, which works with developing methods of evaluation and parameters of quality for buildings for leisure and culture among others. The project is further qualified by successive research by Denmarks school of librarians withing potentiel applications and user behaviour in physical libraries.
