Ancillary services to Smart Grid through multi-zone demand controlled ventilation systems in residential buildings

Project Details

Description

The SmartVENT project aims to explore market potentials for integrating smart grid functionality in residential demand controlled ventilation and heating systems. The outcome of the project translates into two specific, matching business opportunities:

1-to develop a controller with smart grid functionality for a novel demand controlled ventilation and heating system and
2-to develop an aggregator system that can exploit such ventilation and heating systems in order to capitalize in current and future energy markets.

The project is suppported by EUDP.
