Bouncing back or bouncing forward? Place leadership and post-pandemic recovery in European tourism regions

This project will investigate how the development of tourism regions has been affected by the covid-19 pandemic, focusing on the role of place leadership in shaping recovery strategies. The corona pandemic constitutes a huge external shock to all European tourism regions, and the aim of this project is to set up a network to coordinate the collection and comparative analysis of data on regional policy responses in six European countries.
