The vision of the center is to initiate and strengthen application-oriented research in the use of rehabilitation robotics to increase the quality of life and independence of individuals with severe paralysis due to ALS, SCI, stroke, CP and similar disorders. The center will ensure the applicability of the research results through interdisciplinary research. The center is established on the basis of a grant from the Aage and Johanne Louis-Hansen Foundation. The grant includes a professorship for Center Leader Lotte N. S. Andreasen Struijk
