Project Details

Description

Concentration of oxygen in the gaseous phase can modulate the process of differentiation when the embryonic stem cells, but also other types of stem cells, are cultured in vitro in a 2-dimensional format. In this project, we set out to investigate the molecular mechanisms mediating the effect of hypoxia on the maintenance of pluripotential state of embryonic stem cell lines that have been isolated in this laboratory. Persons involved: V. Zachar, M. Prasad.
