The project takes its point of departure in the specific curriculum development of an interdisciplinary master programme (Master of Arts in Learning and Innovative Change) at Aalborg University. Based on various types of data, including different agents' evaluations of the education, and theoretical reflections on universities' general situation under postmodern conditions, a research based didactic rationale is developed for the ongoing curriculum development. Some of the problem areas to be addressed are the increased diversity in student background, the didactic challenge from interdisciplinary areas of education, conditions of problem based learning in groups of students with very different subject related profiles etc.
