Project Details

Description

The project's long-term mission is to digitize the Danish underground, where the majority of the infrastructure for Denmark's overall supply industry is located. The road there is long and requires new and innovative solutions. In the applied project, we want to identify the opportunities and barriers that arise when players in the supply and construction industry share 3D point clouds of conduit trenches/construction holes. The project will investigate whether it is possible to increase the social value of the 3D pipeline data that the project participants Aarhus Vand and Novafos have generated in recent years. There are currently collected approx. 7,000 3D point clouds of cable trenches/plant holes. It is unique – not only in Denmark, but also on a global level when it comes to 3D documentation of wiring work.
