    Description

    The Network was founded in 2002 and organizes c onferences every 3 years and organizes conferences every 3 years. In 2002 at Fudan University in Shanghai, in 2005 in Lund, in 2008 in Kunmin, Yunnan and the conference in 2011 is planned to be held at Aalborg University. Birte Siim and Anette Borchorst are members of the Organizing Committee for the Fourth Sino-Nordic Women and Gender Studies Conference. The first PhD-conference was organized in November 2009 at the Nordic Institute, Fudan University titled: "Gender and the Interface of the Global and the Local: Perspectives for China and the Nordic countries.
