Development of an AI-based Telehealth Care Pathway for Chronic Pain after Total Knee Replacement

Project Details

Description

The purpose of TaKeAction is to reduce the numbers of patients experiencing chronic pain after total knee arthroplasty. We aim to develop an evidence-based and effective care pathway for patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty. The novel care pathway will integrate various health technology components (digital communication, push notifications, and an AI-chatbot) to support patients in the postoperative period, identify individuals in need of in-person consultations, and ultimately prevent the development of chronic pain and functional impairments after total knee arthroplasty.
