Doughnut Economics principles for urban development projects

Project Details

Description

This project develops practical guidelines for the implementation of Doughnut Economics principles in urban development projects. The main output of this project, a series of manuals, is aimed primarily at developers. The work at Aalborg University has focused primarily on how LCA can be used to assess a building's absolute sustainability in relation with the planetary boundaries, and how to assess the environmental benefits of a circular use of building materials.
