Description

The research project was The Ph.D. project which was based on the hypothesis that changes in road categorising and the road pattern (grid size) of the existing roads and path network in Danish urban areas - along with a reduction of the number of existing multifunctional roads could drastically reduce the urban and environmental problems caused by the traffic in Danish urban areas. The project was supported by the Danish Transport Council and by Aalborg University. The project was commenced in June 1997 and was completed in June 2002.
