Project Details

Description

The differentiation state of both mesenchymal and embryonic stem cells can be modulated through signaling by growth factors but also properties of the growth surface. The project attempts through the use of a combinatorial library of micropatterned surfaces to select and further study topographies with a most significant biological effect. The project is carried out in collaboration with Aarhus University (Assoc. Prof. M. R. Duch and Prof. F. Besenbacher). Person involved: V. Zachar.
