Power Electronics Ready for New Grid Harmonic Requirements

Project Details

Description

The main goal of this project is to provide and develop a new systematical methodology and guidance on selection and design of suitable 9 kHz – 150 kHz compliant power supply. Thereby, the target audience and end users of this project’s outcome are summarized as follows:

♦ Group1: Danish companies providing consultancy services to Danish industry lacking direct design knowledge on power supplies

♦ Group2: Danish companies manufacturing or being the end users of products for low voltage market, including industrial motor drives applications such as heat ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) and pumps. Moreover, appliances manufacturers as the main influencers at residential sites can be included as well

♦ Group3: Danish maritime and military sector due to the lack of power supplies compatible with 9 kHz-150 kHz range and requirement of maritime application to comply with this frequency range.
