Energy management in a "smart home" with integrated solar cells, electric vehicles and heat pumps

The aim of my research was to develop an experimental test facility that emulates a smart house, by constructing a DC microgrid in the laboratory. The test facility is used for testing different control strategies and energy management systems. The test facility consists of PV, Batteries, wind turbines, bi-directional inverters, and load emulators.
