Project Details

The Danish government states in its political PtX strategy available from December 2021 that Denmark aims to build and install a total of 4-6 GW of electrolysis capacity by 2030.
The goal of this project examines the possibilities of building cheaper and more efficient power converters for electrolyzers by utilizing medium voltage components as an attractive alternative to low voltage components in larger plants. In the project, a test demonstrator of a 50 kW electrolyzer plant are built and tested in order to be able to scale results and learning to large (MW) plants after the project period.
