ENERGISE adopted the living lab methodology in order to test novel ways to perform everyday practices together with the households in their real-life surroundings. Living laboratories provide a space for bottom-up experimentation, involve different actors (such as researchers, energy experts and households) as co-creators, and facilitate systematic monitoring and learning within the project.
