    Description

Most companies in Denmark are facing considerable challenges in regard to the enhanced globalization. The most common example of these challenges is the pressure on prices from low-cost-labour countries in Eastern Europe and Asia. But Globalization does not only affect traditional production companies and their variable costs, it also changes the way most branches should handle product development and innovation.

Through a period of two years (September 2005 - August 2007) a network consisting of 9 company managers and owners and two researchers will meet ten times at different company locations. Here the host company will present it self and be challenged according to its abilities in market, product and network innovation.

The Global Innovation project strives to present participating company managers and owners for the newest research in innovation and globalization. Therefore a new researcher and his / her topic of interest within the field of global innovation will be presented at each meeting.

Further the aim of the research project is in close corporation with the NEWGIBM project to develop models and tools to handle New Business and the globalization challenges of the future.

The CIP project group is Associate Professor Peter Lindgren and PhD-researcher Jacob Høj Jørgensen.
