    Project Details

    Description

The purpose of this project is to collect and analyse Nordic research on management, production, participation and working environment, summarize it into a coherent description of Nordic tradition of good management practice.
The resulting report will be presented at a work shop/ researcher conference in early 2014 for exploitation and dissemination, and will be followed by a project proposal for a multi centered research proposal involving all countries where the lessons learned can be put into practice.
The project will do this by carrying out individual literature reviews in four Nordic countries; Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, with an accompanying study focusing on the international research. Each will be compiled and represent an individual deliverable. The studies will then be combined and analysed together. This will form the basis of the report, which again will be used as the center of a work shop and research conference.
The project will be carried out by researchers from the four abovementioned countries, led by SINTEF. The other partners are Aalborg University in Denmark, VTT in Finland, University of Karlstad in Sweden.
Quality assurance and relevance of the work will be ensured through the active participation of various stakeholders at national level; like the social partners, Labour Inspectorates and Ministries of Work. From these national stakeholder groups an international reference group will be established to ensure coordination across the nations.
