Project Details

Description

GEORB is software for Precise Orbit Determination (POD) of Low Earth Orbiters (LEOs), gravity field recovery and orbit design of space missions. It has supported the Gravity Recovery And Climate Experiment (GRACE), GRACE Follow-On (GRACE-FO) and Gravity Field and Steady-State Ocean Circulation (GOCE) missions.
GEORB delivers scientific data products for the GRACE-FO mission including precise orbit data, calibrated accelerometer data and time-variable gravity field models.

GEORB has been developed by Thomas since 2007 and has been released as open-source software in 2022. Details are provided through the following repository website on GitHub.
