Project Details
Description
Training and rehabilitation of the upper limb rely heavily on repetitive and intensive targeted movements which are boring and may be abandoned before reaching the training goals. Therefore, an engaging and motivating hand/grip training can significantly improve the rehabilitation process.
GripX is a digital platform for gamification of ball-based trainings both at home and in the physiotherapy clinics. It includes an IoT device, a mobile app and a cloud database. Through the platform, clinicians can monitor the progress of the rehabilitation plans and prescribe new treatments for the patient who need rehabilitation of hand and arm.
