Hydroforming Europe

The Sheet Metal Forming Group has participated in the formulation of an EU application regarding the establishment of a network of excellence in the area of hydroforming (the network is denoted Hydroforming Europe). Members of the network are leading universities and research institutions in Europe. With regard to competence of the network partners, the application obtained a very high rating in the evaluation. However, the application did not pass due primarily to a too weak involvement from industry. (Joachim Danckert, Department of Production, AAU)
