    Description

The objective of the project is to derive a numerical procedure for identification of clusters in two- and three-dimensional dispersion of spherical particles. The procedure uses some information provided by planar and volumetric tessellations, therefore the tessellation algorithms must have been first developed. Simulations are performed with various volume fractions of particles, different number of clusters and their densities. The procedure should allow analysis of clustering for arbitrary distribution of spherical sizes. It is planned to extend the identification procedure for percolation analysis of disordered microstructures.
