IEA EBC Annex 83 – “Positive energy districts”

Formålet med projektet er at sikre dansk deltagelse i IEA EBC bilag 83 - ”Positive Energy Districts”. Det overordnede mål med IEA EBC Annex 83 er at etablere den nødvendige information og vejledning til plan-lægning og implementering af Positive Energy Districts (PEDs), herunder både tekniske og byplanlæg-ningsperspektiver, dvs. inklusive økonomiske, sociale og miljømæssige konsekvensanalyser for forskellige alternative udviklingsveje.
IEA-projektet er interessant for Danmark, da projektet har et stærkt fokus på distriktsenergioptimering. Di-striktsenergioptimering er vigtigt, hvis Danmark ønsker at gennemføre planlagte fremtidige reduktioner i emissioner. Ved at sikre den danske deltagelse i IEA-projektet vil vi have mulighed for at påvirke projektets indhold og fokus, samtidig med at vi vil kunne styrke danske eksportmuligheder. Derudover vil vi også fortsætte arbejdet med at styrke den danske position gennem det internationale samarbejde om planlæg-ning og drift af distriktsenergiløsninger under hensyntagen til bygningernes individuelle og kollektive energi-forhold.

The purpose of the project is to ensure Danish participation in IEA EBC Annex 83 – “Positive energy districts”. The overarching goal of IEA EBC Annex 83 is to develop the needed information and guidance for the planning and implementation of Positive Energy Districts (PEDs) including both technical and urban planning perspectives, i.e. including economic, social and environmental impact assessment for various alternative development paths.
The IEA project is interesting for Denmark as the project has a strong focus on district energy optimization. District energy optimization will be key if Denmark wants to fulfill planned future emission reductions. By ensuring the Danish participation in the IEA project, we will have the opportunity to influence the content and focus of the project, while at the same time we will be able to further strengthen Danish export opportunities. In addition, we will also continue work on strengthening the Danish position through the international cooperation on planning and operation of district energy solutions for districts taking into account the build-ings' individual and collective energy conditions.
