Project Details
Description
The objective of the network project is to identify and test enablers and barriers for the widespread use of modularization in industrial enterprises. The vehicle for achieving these objectives is the development of a phenomenological model of modularization. A contingency approach will be adopted, and industrial case examples will serve as test beds for experimenting with various forms of modularization. The model will establish relationships between product development and the other functions in an extended enterprise with respect to modularization. Network participants: Center for Industriel Produktion, Poul Kyvsgaard Hansen, Jørgen Schønning Larsen, Jesper Thyssen Institut for Konstruktions- og Styreteknik, DTU, Professor Mogens Myrup Andreasen Teknologisk Institut, Jørgen D. Jespersen, Thomas Jensen
