Project Details
Description
This project aims to assess the potential of a new, minimally invasive treatment for valvular heart disease, which disproportionately affects the aging population and results in high healthcare costs. Our innovative approach addresses a need in patients where current treatments are ineffective. In this project, we validate the potential of the method to alleviate symptoms, reduce healthcare costs and improve quality of life. Our current overall goal is to develop a model ready for pilot testing in animal laboratory.
