Project Details

Description

Habitat loss threatens connectivity, biodiversity and ecosystem functioning. When habitats become fragmented and loose connectivity they also become more vulnerable to the effects of climate change. The project seeks to understand how to bridge knowledge on of diversity and connectivity with effective spatial planning and environmental impact assessment under the threats of climate change. We will use this knowledge to develop predictive tools that will be integrated into novel frameworks for effective environmental impact assessment and spatial planning.
