    This post.doc. projet is based on an explorative study of irregular immigrants in Denmark from Peoples Republic of China and Ukraine and investigates migrants social experiences with forms of irregular migration (such as and human smuggling) and the development of social strategies in order to attain social and physical mobility, formation of transnational networks and social identity. The project investigates issues and questions related to the processes of regulation and laws seeking to control migration at the one hand, and the existence of bilateral agreements with the sending countries in order to promote a certain kind of migration on the other.
