    Project Details

    Description

When an industrial company establishes production capabilities in other countries, the need arises to increase the capability to capture and share existing knowledge and to develop new knowledge among the production units. The knowledge may take an explicit form, e.g. manuals and work descriptions. But a large part of the knowledge will be tacit experience jointly shared by groups of managers and employees.

The aim of the 2½ years project is to develop and test a framework and a set of means for accelerating knowledge sharing and development.

Three companies take part in and sponsor the project, Danfoss, Grundfos and Velux.

Participants from Center for Industrial Production are Professor Jens Ove Riis, Assistant Professor Brian Vejrum Sørensen, and Research Assistant Erik Skov Madsen.
