Project Details


The LEAPS initiative aims to make more children and young people interested in a science education, strengthen children and young people's scientific and interdisciplinary competencies such as problem solving, critical thinking and communication, and to create several innovative model schools that can inspire other schools. The Kata Foundation is behind the initiative, which is supported by some of Denmark's large foundations.

The research at the Department of Culture and Learning at AAU follows the efforts from the students' perspective through qualitative focus group interviews and quantitative surveys.
