Project Details

Description

The project aims to foster research capacities in the field of development macroeconomics in Latin America. The main goal is to deliver four courses on stock-flow consistent models combining elements of the Post-Keynesian and Latin American Structuralist schools. As a direct result of the courses delivered throughout the project, specific research units will be developed in Bolivia and Colombia to build macroeconomic models to evaluate the potential impact of macroeconomic policies for justice, sustainable development and inclusive growth, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (in particular, but not exclusively, goals 1, 4, 8 and 16). As a result of the project, strong cooperation is expected between Latin American academic and non-academic institutions (ministries, research centers, think-tank, etc.) and the European institutions involved.
