Description

Increasing demand for high-performance 4G broadband wireless is enabled by the use of multiple antennas at both base station and subscriber ends. Multiple antenna technologies enable high capacities suited for Internet and multimedia services and also dramatically increase range and reliability. Towards this end, we analyze an architecture implementing a realistic simulation platform (where transmission techniques are compared) to evaluate link and system performances in terms of bit error and packet error rate (BER and PER) with the objective of qualitatively analyzing the behavior of an OFDM system employing diversity and the advantages of coupling such a system with code division multiple access (CDMA).
