Description
A non-symmetric 3-class association schemes consists of three relations: an orientation of a strongly regular graph, the opposite orientation, and the complementary strongly regular graph. The reason for our interest in non-symmetric 3-class association schemes is that a non-symmetric relation is a normally regular digraph. Conversely, every group-divisible normally regular digraph with four eigenvalues is an imprimitive 3-class association scheme. It has been shown that the Hoffman-Singleton graph is not one of the relations of a 3-class association scheme. Furthermore, we study imprimitive non-symmetric 3-class association schemes.
