Description
The Nordic Initiative on AI in Business, Economics and Social Sciences Teaching (Nordic
AI-BEST) joins together teachers from Aalborg University, Denmark, Gothenburg University,
Sweden, The Norwegian School of Economics, Norway, and Tampere University, Finland, in
the development of novel teaching and assessment methods levering AI technology for higher
education. The team consist of 13 teachers, who combine teaching experience, technical
knowledge on AI, didactic expertise, and research experience on the effect of AI on jobs in
developing novel teaching and assessment methods to accomplish five goals 1) Exploit the
strengths of AI to attain existing learning objectives for students. 2) Add new learning outcomes
to curricula that emphasize students’ knowledge, skills, and competences for working with
AI. 3) Update higher education assessment methods to a time where AI makes traditional
assessment methods obsolete. 4) Examine the institutional factors contributing (or hindering)
towards adoption of AI in teaching, and 5) Reflections on potential fundamental shifts in higher
business education.
